MEP Engineer - NAFFCO

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development:
   Design HVAC plumbing fire protection and electrical systems for modular buildings ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and functional requirements.
2. System Integration & Coordination:
   Coordinate MEP systems within modular units collaborating with BIM teams and ensuring smooth integration with other building systems.
3. Project Support & Communication:
   Provide technical guidance support project teams and ensure MEP systems are installed and commissioned on schedule and within budget.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
   Ensure systems meet building codes sustainability standards (e.g. LEED) and perform quality checks onsite.
5. Troubleshooting & Sustainability:
   Resolve technical issues optimize energy efficiency and suggest improvements for sustainable MEP solutions.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
   Prepare technical drawings and reports track system progress and report any delays or issues.

Qualifications:

1. Education:
   Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's or certifications in MEP/sustainability a plus).
2. Experience:
   3-5 years in MEP engineering with modular or prefabricated construction experience preferred.
3. Technical Skills:
   Proficient in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and knowledge of building codes, energy modelling, and sustainable practices.
4. Soft Skills:
   Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with attention to detail.
