MEP Engineer

Looking for an MEP Engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience on site in UAE.

The engineer role should include the following responsibilities:

• Managing multiple MEP projects.
• Ensuring there are minimal problems from the design to the delivery stage.
• Using project management software, AutoCAD, and word processing programs to create MEP plans.
• Preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Overseeing the work of the project management team and ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
• Coordinating on-site work with architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers.
• Providing MEP system installation, maintenance, and technical advice to service providers, supervisors, and inspectors.
• Inspecting, analyzing, and finding solutions for engineering issues related to the MEP features.
• Reviewing and evaluating the work of contractors, consultants, and other construction industry professionals.
• Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the MEP design plan.
• Making technical clarifications to resolve coordination issues and design modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements.
• Monitoring and maintaining on-site health and safety policies and explaining the necessity of complying with these to the crew.
• Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability.
