MEP ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer (HVAC, PH, Electrical, ELV) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and design MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV) for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
2. Perform system calculations, create load analyses, and prepare detailed designs and specifications.
3. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall building designs.
4. Prepare technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation for MEP systems, using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
5. Review and evaluate the performance of existing systems to recommend improvements or modifications where necessary.
6. Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
7. Provide technical support during project implementation, including liaising with contractors and monitoring progress.
8. Participate in project meetings, providing updates on MEP design, scheduling, and cost control.
9. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and tenders, including budget estimates and project timelines.
10. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design, with a strong background in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or ELV systems.
3. Previous experience working in a design consultancy or similar environment is a must.
4. Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit, and other related tools).
5. Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to MEP design.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to provide innovative solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
