MEP Engineer

Job Description

• Assist in managing and supervising MEP works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Work closely with civil and architectural teams to ensure proper integration of MEP systems.
• Review and verify MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to support timely execution.
• Ensure MEP works meet industry standards, safety regulations, and local authority guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of installed MEP systems before handover.
• Identify and report technical issues, seeking guidance when needed.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day site challenges related to MEP works.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available as per project schedules.
• Keep accurate records of progress, site issues, and material usage.
• Follow site safety procedures and encourage compliance among subcontractors.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to site management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in MEP execution, preferably in a tier 1 construction company.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office is an advantage.
• Able to work independently while being open to learning and guidance.
• Adaptable, with strong attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidate must be readily available.
