MEP Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   Develop comprehensive project plans outlining MEP scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
   Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
2. Client Interaction:
   Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their MEP requirements and expectations.
   Provide regular project updates, address client inquiries, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, designers, and support staff.
   Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and efficient resource allocation.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
   Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met, and costs are controlled.
   Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize MEP project outcomes.
5. Quality Assurance:
   Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure MEP systems comply with industry standards and client specifications.
   Conduct regular inspections and reviews to uphold the highest standards of quality.
   Identify potential risks related to MEP systems and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
   Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry codes.
6. Communication:
   Facilitate clear and consistent communication within the MEP project team and with external stakeholders.
   Provide detailed MEP updates to senior management and collaborate with other project managers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
2. Proven experience in MEP project management, preferably in a leadership role.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
4. In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
