MEP Draftsman

Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.

Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.

Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.

Proficiency in HVAC works, duct sizing and ESP calculations.

Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.

Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.

Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.

Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.

Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman with a focus on creating detailed and accurate drawings.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.

Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into building designs.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified deadlines.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering and design teams.

The candidate must submit a sample/portfolio and should be in the UAE.
