Mep Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a Junior MEP Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry. The MEP Design Engineer will work closely with our senior engineers to provide technical support and assistance in the design of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Assist senior engineers in the design and development of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
2. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
3. Prepare technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or other design software.
4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure coordination and integration of MEP systems with overall building design.
5. Conduct heat load calculations.
6. Conduct pump head calculations using software.
7. Conduct calculations and simulations to determine energy efficiency and sustainability of MEP systems.
8. Assist with cost estimation and budgeting for MEP systems.
9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to MEP systems.
10. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the architecture or construction industry.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
4. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to MEP systems.
5. Good spoken and written English; team player.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
