Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced MEP Computational Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and utilize computational models and parametric tools to optimize MEP designs.
Conduct building performance simulations, energy modeling, and thermal analysis using IES-VE.
Analyze and optimize building energy performance to enhance sustainability and efficiency.
Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure designs are integrated seamlessly.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction specifications.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Proven experience in designing and implementing MEP systems.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced digital tools.
Proficiency in computational design and parametric tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and Ladybug.
Experience with IES-VE for building energy modeling and thermal simulations.
Strong understanding of core engineering principles and REVIT software.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Familiarity with sustainability and green building initiatives.
Experience in HVAC load calculations and energy efficiency strategies.
Previous experience in the Middle East region is a plus.
