MEP Computational Engineer

Due to a strong pipeline of projects, our Abu Dhabi team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced MEP Computational Engineer to undertake a variety of projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and utilize computational models and parametric tools to optimize MEP designs.
• Conduct building performance simulations, energy modeling, and thermal analysis using IES-VE.
• Analyze and optimize building energy performance to enhance sustainability and efficiency.
• Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure designs are integrated seamlessly.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in MEP engineering to continuously improve system efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing MEP systems.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced digital tools.
• Proficiency in computational design and parametric tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and Ladybug.
• Experience with IES-VE for building energy modeling and thermal simulations.
• Strong understanding of core engineering principles and REVIT software.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Familiarity with sustainability and green building initiatives.
• Experience in HVAC load calculations and energy efficiency strategies.
• Previous experience in the Middle East region is a plus.
