POSITION SUMMARY:

The Member Services Specialist is primarily responsible for all tasks pertaining to the enhancement of the membership experience of current members in the region. Tasks will include ongoing communications with existing and potential members. We are looking for a passionate individual who excels in customer service and strives for excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide customer service of the highest quality to the association's customers, which include Chapters, IMA members, and IMA Global Staff.
  2. Primary customer service contact for member inquiries, managing all inbound member calls, Middle East emails, and inquiries on WhatsApp.
  3. Prepare, manage, and ship CMA certificates for the Middle East Region.
  4. Live admin follow-up calls and lead calls during promotions.
  5. Support business development team during live events and webinars.
  6. Monthly calls for new members and weekly shopping cart drop-out calls.
  7. Maintain regular communications with chapters and assist them in chapter administration and events organization.
  8. Maintain office inventory.
  9. Call existing and prospect members to advise them about IMA products and services.
  10. Work and coordinate with other departments (i.e. Operations, Marketing, Partner Relations, and Community Relations).
  11. Other admin duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

This position is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and reports to Middle East Operation Manager.

  1. Strong written and oral English and Arabic communication skills.
  2. Excellent communication and listening skills, positive attitude, and result-driven are required for this position.
  3. Degree/Diploma in related field or 1-3 years work experience.
  4. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to work in SalesForce (training will be provided).
  5. Self-starter who can set priorities and work well independently as well as on a global team.
  6. Telemarketing experience is an advantage.
  7. Work experience at a membership association or not-for-profit organization is helpful.
