Job Description:
To promote and sell assigned brands and products through assigned hospital and pharmacy accounts.
Generate demand via medical visits to selected specialties (gynecology, orthopedics) in private and institutional sections and maintain a good presence in retail outlets (pharmacies).
Propose and implement various market activities to gain market share and support assigned brands and product presence in the UAE market.
Sales Management:
Plan & execute regular visits to physicians with the objective to create demand for the brand using product detailing and professional selling techniques.
Achieve good coverage of the assigned area, ensuring effective time management for covering scattered accounts.
Meet target and distribution goals, ensuring sufficient product availability at the POS level linked to clinics and hospitals.
Responsible for inclusion and listing of assigned brands and products.
Contribute to the development of annual business plans for assigned areas of responsibility to support financial and strategic objectives.
Business Development:
Keep up-to-date information about customers, competitors, and market developments and report accordingly.
Identify marketing opportunities and make recommendations to the Medical Supervisor/Division Manager.
Initiate and develop new contacts within the area of responsibility.
Maintain up-to-date analysis of relevant market information, ensuring availability when necessary.
Recognize marketing opportunities in the assigned area and utilize them to achieve marketing objectives.
Relationship Management:
Maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers.
Keep a database for customers and update as required.
Assist in conducting launch events with key customers.
Select customers carefully to offer ethical support, such as conferences and sponsorships that help customers in their professional practices with sensible ROI.
Admin Activities:
Send daily call reports, detailing visit outcomes and comments.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and engage in regular rehearsals and role-playing.
Send necessary sales analysis reports in a timely manner.
Prepare quarterly area sales analysis presentations demonstrating sales outcomes from different outlets and growth.
Attend scheduled office meetings.
Utilize company tools, samples, and premiums efficiently and rationally.
