Job description

The Medical Claims Executive is responsible for managing and processing medical insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate assessments. This position involves liaising with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure seamless claim handling.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing reimbursement claim submissions
  • Provide timely processing and adjudication of claims.
  • Prepare documents and other paperwork relating to claims.
  • Take responsibility for the payment of all claims in compliance with rules.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve escalations pertaining to specific claim issues.
  • Liaising with different insurers and TPAs in accordance with claim processing.
  • Maintenance of claims tracker and timely updating of received and settled claims respectively.
  • Supporting clients when a claim gets denied by reevaluating policy terms and conditions and reproaching insurers for special approvals if needed.
  • Arranging and managing wellness sessions for assigned clients understanding their needs by liaising with providers and insurers.

Requirements

  • Qualified medical doctor with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the UAE insurance industry
  • Knowledge of DHA and HAAD guidelines
  • Good communication skills and knowledge of MS Office Tools especially Microsoft Excel
