Medical Assistant-Spa City Pain Management- ID : 36184

This individual is responsible for patient preparation, as well as assisting the physician with procedures and minor surgeries. They also perform various diagnostic tests and patient education in the clinic. The role includes maintaining equipment and acting as a liaison between the physician and all outside agencies, including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, and other physician’s offices, as well as with the patient. Additionally, they support other medical staff members as necessary to maintain patient flow. In cases where lab duties are involved, the individual will be responsible for the proper collection and processing of blood samples to assure accurate analysis and promote safe handling.

Other information:

• CPR certification required
• High School diploma or GED equivalent if working in the lab
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Medical Assistant preferred

This job will be authorized for 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
