Medical Assistant - Homecare

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our homecare team in the UAE. This role involves supporting patients in their homes with basic clinical tasks, health monitoring, and personalized care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, ensuring a high standard of comfort, safety, and medical support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide direct patient care, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and medication reminders
2. Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support
3. Follow individualized care plans developed by nurses and physicians
4. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports
5. Support medical staff during home visits and follow-up procedures
6. Educate patients and families on basic health practices and post-treatment care
7. Monitor changes in patient condition and report concerns promptly
8. Ensure all equipment and medical supplies are clean, functional, and ready for use
9. Uphold strict patient confidentiality and respect in all interactions
10. Adhere to infection control and homecare safety protocols
11. Travel between patient homes as required, maintaining timely service schedules

Requirements

1. Diploma or certification in Medical Assisting or a related healthcare field
2. DHA/DOH/MOH eligibility or license (as required by UAE regulations)
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or homecare setting
4. Strong understanding of basic clinical procedures and medical terminology
5. Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-centric approach
6. Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse home environments
7. Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within assigned areas
8. Proficient in basic healthcare documentation and patient record keeping
