Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and ensure the execution of media plans runs smoothly from inception to completion, aligning with client goals and expectations.
  2. Lead day-to-day communications with clients, ensuring they are updated with campaign performance and providing strategic and innovative direction to strengthen client relationships.
  3. Plan, optimize, and report campaigns to meet and surpass client success metrics.
  4. Support collaboration between departmental teams, acting as a key driving force in planning, ideation, media execution, and media-led creative.
  5. Monitor campaigns for performance with a team of Media Analysts and Senior Media Analysts, ensuring campaigns are pacing accordingly, managing spend, troubleshooting campaigns, creating insights about performance, making updates, and flagging potential issues to management.
  6. Create and present sophisticated media investment strategies to clients derived from industry insights and QA reporting.
  7. Develop and deliver client-facing campaign reports to showcase performance, new business opportunities, and storytelling, including pacing reports, campaign builds, ad hoc analysis, and high-touch optimizations to ensure relevant metrics and insights are highlighted.
  8. Manage up to senior leadership regarding crucial aspects of a client's business, keeping them informed of any pertinent developments and urgent client needs.
  9. Manage ad technology vendors needed to execute specific campaign work.
  10. Collaborate across disciplines to craft best-in-class holistic omnichannel media strategies rooted in driving tangible business outcomes for large brands.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience of at least 5 years in a Media agency or Media team, preferably from a Global Media Agency.
  2. Experience leading and managing teams, ideally 2-3 analysts/media executives responsible for trafficking, QAing, and optimizing digital media.
  3. Ability to provide leadership, mentorship, vision, and technical expertise, comfortable managing timelines and projects internally and externally, including task management (e.g., owning a Trello board, weekly tasks, Google Sheets).
  4. Well-versed in media, utilizing resources to help guide clients' marketing goals in their respective markets (syndicated proprietary analyst data).
  5. An empathetic, patient, and collaborative spirit that fosters a positive day-to-day experience for teammates.
  6. Ability to lead by example in attention to detail, work ethic, empathy, and professionalism.
  7. Driven by today's digital & mobile consumer, eager to succeed, and always looking to learn more.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (highly preferred). UAE experience is a must.
