Mechanical Technician

Mechanical Technician Nuclear Power Plant (Outage Maintenance)
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to perform maintenance activities during refuelling outages at the Nuclear Power Plant. This role requires hands-on expertise with key mechanical systems while ensuring strict adherence to nuclear safety, quality, health and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive, corrective, and major overhaul maintenance on mechanical systems, including valves, pumps, chillers, diesels, HVAC and filtration systems.
2. Conduct rigging, lifting, alignment, and bolting/torquing operations safely and efficiently.
3. Inspect, repair, and replace components such as gaskets, seals, filters and strainers.
4. Execute diagnostic testing and maintenance for diesel systems, ensuring optimal performance.
5. Support surveillance and periodic testing as required for plant maintenance.

1. Technician certificate or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance.
2. Outage experience is a plus.
3. Hands-on experience in valve maintenance, pump overhauls, rigging, lifting, lubrication and steam/compressed gas systems.
4. Proficiency in using mechanical hand tools, measuring/test equipment and interpreting technical drawings.
5. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality standards.
