Mechanical Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-field walkdowns for MOV/AOV maintenance, which may include lubrication, packing replacement, limit switch adjustments, torque switch settings, and full diagnostic testing (using customer equipment like Votes Infinity). Tasks may extend to manually or remotely operated valves, check valves, piping repairs/replacements, and actuator removal for internal valve work.
2. Perform AOV tasks such as positioner calibration, solenoid/tubing replacement, air leak inspections, diaphragm replacement, and I/P calibration, including as-found/as-left testing.
3. Review procedures, work instructions, materials, and tools required for tasks.
4. Analyze OEM manuals, prints, and diagrams to identify needed parts.
5. Coordinate support activities (e.g., scaffolding, rigging, insulation).
6. Review schedules for efficient outage work strategies and provide technical support as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Experience with diagnostic testing
2. Proficiency in Viper 20 and Votes Infinity
3. Extensive experience in nuclear outage work
4. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
