A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of seventeen (17+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years, preferred in the GCC region. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position for mega EPC Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience in Fabrication, Piping & Steel Structure.
Review and provide input to the overall construction plan, procedures, and construction requirements identified in the EPC Contract to ensure constructability.
Review construction organization and manning.
Review construction plans and detailed procedures.
Monitor the EPC Contractor’s allocation of construction resources in consideration of relative priorities to meet the construction program and recommend any appropriate corrective action where shortage of resources might prejudice the program.
Review and ensure that all construction procedures, statements, and Inspection & Test Plans are issued as final approved documents before the start of any related work.
Monitor and manage inspection of the construction work performed by the EPC Contractor and/or its subcontractors to verify that such work is performed in compliance with the approved procedures and specifications, and that the workmanship is in accordance with appropriate standards of quality.
Ensure that the EPC Contractor has mobilized representatives of VENDORS and/or LICENSORS as required to support the construction activities.
Monitor the progress of work at SITE against the PROJECT Schedule.
Monitor the development of punch lists and close out of listed items as WORKS progress.
