What you will need to do:
- Assist in the preparation of quality documentation including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Mechanical works.
- Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Mechanical works, particularly issues of design procurement, construction, and final handover.
- Monitor the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to Mechanical works and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner.
- Manage the inspection and testing of Mechanical works, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
- Monitor the closeout of punch lists established for incompleteness related to Mechanical works.
- Ensure all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works are functional and calibrated.
- Witness, review, and approve welder qualifications and WPS PQR qualifications.
- Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Companies as required.
- Perform statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Mechanical works.
- Prepare files, maintain test/inspection records, and any other quality records generated.
- Assist construction personnel in identifying and resolving problems and potential or actual nonconformances.
- Advise the QC Manager of nonconformance occurrences and raise Nonconformance Reports for noncompliant work, monitoring the closeout and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Assist the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits including those of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Witness all NDT and Mechanical testing specified.
- Attend and witness all Client verification of work on site and coordinate closeout of any outstanding issues.
- Assist in the preparation of final documents for certification.
- Assist in the systems commissioning as required.
- Manage site interface with implementation contractor QC personnel and client QC personnel, knowledgeable in codes and standards, ADNOC specifications, SHELL DEP.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)
- Full EPC experience in O&G projects
- Very good command of the English language
- Knowledge in rotating equipment
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP 3.1 / ASNT L2 PT MT
- Well versed in the inspection and certification of Pipeline, Piping Structures, Process equipment, packaged units, NDT methods, Welding activities, Test Package Management, Mechanical Completion in oil and gas EPCM projects.
