Mechanical Helper

The Mechanical Helper supports technicians and engineers in performing maintenance, installation, and repair tasks on mechanical systems and equipment. This entry-level role involves assisting with tools, materials, and worksite preparation, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety standards. Working under direct supervision, the Mechanical Helper plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency across construction sites, workshops, or facilities in line with UAE labor and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting mechanical technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and machinery.
2. Preparing tools, materials, and work areas for daily mechanical tasks.
3. Carrying out basic mechanical tasks such as tightening bolts, cleaning components, and assembling parts under supervision.
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained.
5. Supporting the transportation and movement of heavy machinery parts using proper lifting techniques.
6. Adhering to site safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Reporting unsafe practices or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
8. Following instructions from senior technicians and engineers and completing assigned tasks on time.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. 1-2 years of experience in a mechanical or construction support role, ideally in the UAE.
3. Basic knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and safety practices.
4. Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor and high-temperature environments.
5. Willingness to work flexible shifts and adhere to site-specific safety protocols.
6. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
