Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery in an industrial setting. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Assembly: Install, assemble, and align mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery according to specifications and engineering drawings.
2. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes.
4. Inspection & Testing: Conduct regular inspections, tests, and adjustments of mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installation work completed.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, engineers, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
8. Adherence to Standards: Ensure that work complies with relevant industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a mechanical fitter or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
2. Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
   Hands-on experience with tools and machinery used in the fitting process.
   Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
   Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
   Knowledge of safety practices and standards in an industrial environment.
   
3. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Education: Technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
2. Languages: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Hindi, Arabic) is a plus.
3. Salary: AED 2500 - 2700 per month, based on experience.
4. Visa: Provided by the company.

7. Full-time position based in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
