Mechanical Draftsman for Pressure Pumping Division

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our Pressure Piping Division at our DIC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD 2D drafting, specifically with structural skid and piping layouts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of producing accurate and timely drawings for fabrication and construction.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed 2D drawings for structural skids and piping systems using AutoCAD, based on engineering specifications and design concepts.
2. Develop general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
3. Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
4. Review and revise drawings based on feedback and design changes.
5. Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.
6. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
7. Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
8. Support project teams with drafting-related tasks and queries.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 4 to 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in a related industry (e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing, construction).
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
3. Strong knowledge of structural skid and piping layouts.
4. Experience with pressure piping systems is highly desirable.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
