Mechanical Design Engineer -Construction

Job description

Are you a driven Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a company where you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering high-quality mechanical systems for industrial building projects in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop mechanical designs per tender documents, Employer Requirements (ER), and authority regulations.
2. Prepare drawings, design calculations, and value engineering proposals.
3. Coordinate approvals with clients, engineers, and authorities; attend meetings and resolve technical issues.
4. Review Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural Drawings for Shop Drawings and materials.
5. Maintain logs for submissions, calculations, and drawings; ensure timely deliverables.
6. Prepare and review bid packages, material submittals, and compliance documents.
7. Provide technical support, manage variations, and update line managers on progress.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Relevant experience in construction, preferably in industrial projects.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and knowledge of local regulations.
4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
