Mechanic Technician

We have an opportunity with one of our reputed clients in UAE on a rotational basis.

Position: RPS-WPS-TLM Mechanic Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Follow all written policies and procedures safely without deviation or refer to upper management for guidance.
2. Exhibit and advocate exemplary safety culture at all times.
3. Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic.
4. Exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times.
5. Prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRA (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on job site and perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with SPM Oil and Gas SHE policies.
6. Adhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of Change.
7. Safely install, remove, repair and service equipment on a frac site. Pre-check all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure all equipment is operable and complete.
8. Make repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, spools, chokes, actuators, and surface equipment as required.
9. Inspect, rebuild, operate, test, and troubleshoot equipment. Monitor, evaluate and recommend adjustments to processes and or equipment that maximizes quality and efficiency.
10. Operate equipment and materials following guidelines as well as standard operating procedures.
11. Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers.
12. Provide technical expertise and direction to frac site supervisors, as well as third-party providers when necessary.
13. Maintain Oil and Gas company supplied assets and any other equipment, including site-specific equipment, as it relates to company policy.
14. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
15. Perform occasional required work in the shop; must be knowledgeable on shop functions.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: UAE

Tenure: 1 Year extendable
