ME Fine Jewellery & Timepieces Core Business Merchandiser Assistant- 1 YEAR TEMP CONTRACT

Within the ME Fine Jewellery & Timepieces team, the FJ&T Merchandiser Assistant will support the Jewellery & Timepieces category by ensuring the performance of retail boutiques within the ME network and optimizing boutique supply and collection sell-through.

The FJ&T Core Business Merchandiser will work closely with the retail network, Training Department, as well as Central teams from Paris (Business Unit, Supply Chain…).

Job Responsibilities

Merchandising Functions

1. Analysis:
2. Review and support running daily / weekly / monthly sales reports: generate a variety of Excel based reports; store and business recaps, ensure tracking to sales targets.
3. Analyze the network and identify growth drivers / sales opportunities.
4. Analyze the market and prepare comprehensive monthly recaps on trends, launches, market activities, and events.
5. Support compilation of analysis prior to buying session.
6. Manage and follow up daily on product shipping and deliveries.
7. Support stores stock requests and rebalance stock depending on stores performances.
8. Communicate and partner closely with Retail teams to manage day-to-day product inquiries.
9. Support the creation of selling tools.
10. Administrative: Follow up on After-Sales Service cases & generate monthly reports.

Profile

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

1. Business school Student or equivalent university level.
2. First significant experience in an analytical position (ideally in Retail Merchandising or Business analyst).
3. Strong passion for the fashion and luxury industry.
4. Rigorous approach with quantitative data.
5. Analytical mindset.
6. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
7. Effectively and professionally communicate with Boutique teams.
8. Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
