We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Math Teacher to join one of our clients (a reputable school) in Abu Dhabi. As a Math Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engaging math instruction to students while fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth. You will create a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics. The role includes lesson planning, progress monitoring, and collaborating with staff and parents to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities: Classroom Management:
Create a Positive Learning Environment: Develop and maintain a classroom culture where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn. Establish clear classroom rules that encourage active participation and academic success.
Behavior Management: Set clear expectations for student behavior, maintaining a structured and disciplined classroom environment. Address any behavioral issues promptly and fairly to maintain focus on learning.
Student Supervision: Monitor students' behavior during lessons, breaks, and school events, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:
Lesson Planning and Implementation: Plan and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned math lessons ensuring a clear progression of concepts that are relevant and challenging for students. Utilize diverse teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs or varying learning abilities.
Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer both formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback and use assessment data to inform instructional practices.
Technology Integration: Use technology tools and digital resources to enhance lessons and engage students in interactive math activities.
Student Development and Support:
Academic Support: Identify students who need additional academic support and provide tailored assistance. Work with support staff to address learning challenges and ensure students' academic needs are met.
Social-Emotional Learning: Foster students' social-emotional development by encouraging positive relationships, self-regulation, empathy, and conflict resolution.
Monitor Progress: Track and document students' academic and behavioral progress, providing feedback to both students and parents and developing action plans for improvement where necessary.
Communication and Collaboration:
Parent/Guardian Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to inform them of their child's academic progress, behavior, and any concerns. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and address queries promptly.
Collaboration with Staff: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to ensure an integrated approach to student development and school initiatives. Participate in regular staff meetings and school activities.
Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, assessments, and any incidents. Submit required reports and documentation to school administration in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification (specific to the region or country) with ADEK approval preferred.
Experience:
Must have 1 to 3 years experience as a Math Teacher or in a similar teaching role, preferably in middle or high school.
Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies.
