Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher for KS3 (Key Stage 3) to join our vibrant British school in Ajman. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to inspire and educate students in a supportive and academically challenging environment. The role is for a January 2025 start.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teach mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 (ages 11-14), following the British Curriculum.
2. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love for learning and mathematical thinking.
3. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.
4. Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students to ensure academic success and personal development.
6. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to foster a well-rounded educational experience.

Requirements to Apply

1. A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
2. Teaching qualification or license (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
3. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a British or international school.
4. Preferably Western-trained (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or similar).
5. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students at varying levels of ability.
6. Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students in mathematics.
