The Materials Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of materials required for EPC projects in the Oil and Gas industry. This role ensures that all materials are procured, stored, and distributed in a timely and cost-effective manner, adhering to project schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement materials control procedures and policies.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to ensure material requirements are met.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or excess.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of materials transactions.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and compliance.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Lead and mentor the materials control team.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) and must have at least 7 years of experience, or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and must have at least 10 years of experience.
Must have experience in ERP software and MS Office.
Possess good communication skills in English; Hindi and Arabic are a plus.
Must hold certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
