Job Description - Master Technician - Mechanical (2500004W)

Description:

1. Carry out complicated repairs as per manufacturer’s standard, comply with work instructions manual.
2. F1 – Fix it Right First Time.
3. Completion of job within allotted time.
4. Feedback on additional repairs to Team Leader, Foreman and Controller.
5. Inform in advance about the delay in work to Team Leader/Foreman.
6. Must carry out overtime whenever the workshop load increases as per Team Leader/Foreman/Controller’s request.
7. Oils/Consumables recording on Job Card.
8. Handling of customer’s vehicle in a safe manner.
9. Raising parts requisition.
10. Fill up warranty tags, attach with warranty parts and store it in the warranty room.
11. Inform/obtain approval from Team Leader/Foreman for additional repairs/warranty jobs.
12. Ensure to use protective covers for customer vehicles.
13. Cleanliness of work area.
14. Ensure W/S safety procedures and requirements are strictly followed as per SOP and safety gears used at workplace (personal safety/equipment safety/customer’s vehicle etc.).
15. Keeping uniforms and shoes in a clean condition.
16. Ensure that materials drawn on job cards are used for respective vehicle.

Qualifications:

1. 2 year I.T.I in Automobile / 3-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical or equivalent.
2. 5 years minimum experience in Dealership with minimum 2 years as a Technician.
3. Physical fitness to carry out the repairs.
