As a Massage Therapist, you are responsible for recommending and applying body conditioning treatments and massages to the guests or leisure club members. Your role will include key responsibilities as follows:
Massage body, using techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles, or relieve other conditions.
Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared, or water treatments at the request of customers.
Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises.
Record treatments furnished to customers.
Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all items are available (e.g., towels, candles, oils, etc.).
Aware of how to make reservations for massage and other treatment packages.
Perform duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the guests.
Understand the club facilities and the prices of memberships.
Observe high standards of personal hygiene.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be a certified Massage Therapist with ideally international experience within the same role in a hotel or spa environment. You should be well-skilled with all massaging treatments and portray a good command of English along with strong interpersonal skills.

Client Consultation:
Conduct initial consultations to understand the client's health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
Assess areas of tension or pain and recommend appropriate massage techniques.
Provide information on the benefits of massage therapy and suggest follow-up treatments as needed.
Massage Techniques:
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and sports massage.
Adapt treatments based on client feedback and individual needs.
Use oils, lotions, and other products to enhance the massage experience.
Wellness Promotion:
Educate clients on self-care techniques, such as stretching, hydration, and relaxation methods.
Suggest complementary wellness services or products to support the client’s overall health.
Hygiene and Safety:
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including treatment rooms and equipment.
Follow all hygiene and safety protocols to ensure client and therapist well-being.
Dispose of linens, towels, and other materials properly after each session.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including preferences and any medical conditions.
Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with spa or wellness center staff to coordinate appointments and ensure smooth operations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new techniques.
Continuous Learning:
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and certifications.
