Mason

Responsibilities:

1. To carry out all masonry work within the confines of the hotel on walls, floors, or any other items as directed.
2. To perform repairs to wall plaster and renderings.
3. To perform repair work in interior and exterior building walls.
4. To carry out erection work of new walls and demolition work of existing walls as directed by the supervisor or the Director of Engineering.
5. To carry out repairs on existing wall and floor tilework and to lay new tiles as instructed.
6. To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
7. To observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
8. To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform particularly when working in guest areas.
9. To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-sections of the Engineering Department.
10. To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor and the Director of Engineering.
