Job description

Job Purpose

The Marketing Officer is responsible for executing the marketing strategy and plan defined in the business plan. The role is required to develop and execute marketing campaigns for the company's products, focusing on lead generation and supporting the sales function. It needs to ensure overall alignment of the campaigns with the business goals and overarching policies and procedures for marketing activities at the Al Rostamani Group.

Key Responsibilities

Business -Specific Plans

  • Market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with the company's goals and the group's mission.
  • Establish clear marketing priorities and measurable objectives for all campaigns.

Operational Execution:

  • Oversee day-to-day marketing operations and coordinate with various other marketing functions (including shared services) and marketing vendors to drive campaign execution.
  • Ensure adherence to Group Marketing Policies and Procedures for all activities.
  • Manage marketing services administration through collaboration with cross-functional support teams like finance, legal and IT.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all spending is within approved parameters, justified and efficient.
  • Regularly report on budget status to the Cluster Marketing Manager.

Sales and Customer Engagement:

  • Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, group marketing, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies.
  • Develop and implement lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, digital advertising, and content marketing.

Data and Insight Sharing:

  • Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
  • Contribute to group-level strategy development with actionable insights.

Performance Reporting:

  • Set clear objectives and measurement metrics for all marketing campaigns that align with the business and group objectives.
  • Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience in reputed organization.
  • Real Estate Industry experience is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform via written, oral, visual and social media
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, lead generation strategies, and sales support.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and ecosystem. Data-driven decision-making approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to create standard marketing plans and drop schedules and calendars.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, content creation, SEO, SEM would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of target customer, industry, territory, etc.
  • Proficient in English language (Verbal and written), Arabic or other regionally spoken languages would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, usage of reporting tools like excel, power BI, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
