Who are we looking for

The Marketing Executive is responsible for coordination and execution of all marketing and communications activities, such as media relations, collateral production, advertising, and promotional programs in alignment with business goals and corporate guidelines.

What you'll do

As a talented Marketing Executive, no two days look the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following duties and responsibilities:

Digital Communication

  1. Manage and maintain the organization's website: Edit and post news, images, videos and continually work on the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the website.
  2. Write and optimize content for the social networking accounts.
  3. Liaise with all departments to take briefs on the latest innovations, ideas, updates to be used on corporate communication level.
  4. Prepare briefs and arrange for regular meetings with the design team to come up with the best social media visuals.
  5. Prepare reports based on analytics, traffic flow, and performance.

Trade Marketing: Exhibitions, Sponsorships

  1. Keep current with marketing trends, innovations, communication techniques and any media regulation.
  2. Participate in internal brainstorming sessions to come up with a creative brief to be shared with exhibition stand companies to ensure the right image of the organization is exhibited on all platforms.
  3. Find out the right collaterals needed to be used for all products and subsidiaries on site.
  4. Prepare brief and manage creation of content, brochures, videos, gifts to be used, showcased, or distributed.
  5. Participate and manage all exhibitions, press conferences, award ceremonies etc.
  6. Seek approval on all brandings to be used and showcased by the government bodies or organizations that ZAJEL sponsors to.
  7. Executes and maintains a service level management process that includes a service catalogue, service level agreements (SLAs), and regular service reviews with marketing suppliers, designers, PR agencies etc.
  8. Negotiates SLAs with vendors/suppliers, chairs regular service level review process meetings to discuss current performance and service levels against targets.
  9. Escalates matters to Reporting Manager ensuring that all SLAs with the concerned parties are being met and improved.

Press Requirements

  1. Meet the requisitioner to gather brief on the product or service to be launched or any type of news and announcements.
  2. Prepare and launch the brief for Press releases in Arabic and English.
  3. Manage and supervise Press coverage.
  4. Coordinate for spokesperson's interviews in all types of media covering key announcements.
  5. Liaise with the editor/producer to prepare the right Questions & Answers.
  6. Prepare spokesperson's quote to be approved.
  7. Proofread and revise all Press releases prepared by our partner.

Liaison with various Business Units

  1. Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating with UXD, Purchase departments.
  2. Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, coordinating mailing lists.
  3. Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders like clients, colleagues, suppliers, strategic partner organizations.
  4. Provide creative writing and proofreading as directed by Reporting Manager and working on pre-defined deadlines.

What makes you unique

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years experience.
  3. Experience with Marketing Tools and Platforms.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Possessing creativity and problem-solving abilities.
