Events & Marketing Coordinator

Join Fujifilm Middle East Electronic Imaging Division as an Event and Experience Planning Coordinator, where you will organize and see through to completion dynamic customer-facing events such as workshops, seminars, photo-walks, and educational activities across diverse markets in the Middle East and Africa.

Collaborate with our marketing team and business partners to ensure events are impeccably planned and executed. You will also play a pivotal role in establishing internal processes, standards, and guidelines. Additionally, you will contribute to major events like exhibitions and festivals, coordinating with organizers and agencies to represent our brand to the highest level.

This role represents a comprehensive 360-degree event planning position, with substantial involvement in both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to Electronic Imaging Marketing Manager, the incumbent will implement best practices in delivery and strategy to align with overarching business objectives.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, design, and manage event delivery to meet project timelines.
  2. Collaborate with marketing team leads to understand event requirements.
  3. Propose innovative ideas, systems, and processes to enhance service and event quality.
  4. Organize venues and manage all event details, including transportation, location, equipment, and promotional materials.
  5. Determine staff requirements and coordinate their activities.
  6. Record and maintain event details in CRM systems.
  7. Address and resolve any issues that arise during events.
  8. Liaise with external organizers and agencies for larger events and exhibitions.

Required skills/abilities

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Proficiency in task prioritization and delegation as needed.
  4. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  5. Being a key team player.

Preferred experience and qualifications

  1. 3+ years experience in an event planning and coordination role within a luxury goods and/or corporate background.
  2. Academic qualification in Event Management, Marketing or a related field.
  3. Portfolio showcasing previously managed events (e.g., weddings, meetings, corporate events, or parties).
  4. Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects independently and effectively.
  6. Should be proficient in using MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and social media related tools.
  7. Ability to provide references from past clients.
