About The Job Marketing Coordinator-Preferably Female (Bilingual)

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Bloom Education is seeking a senior professional in the field of international education marketing for the role of Marketing Coordinator for Charter School in Al Ain for an immediate start.

The Role Involves

  1. Implementing strategies for the schools internal communications objectives.
  2. Leading school marketing initiatives, in close collaboration with the Admissions team to ensure excellence in service delivery to prospective families throughout their enrollment journey.
  3. Managing external and internal marketing, communication, social media efforts.
  4. Liaising with teachers and staff to identify opportunities for engaging news stories that are on brand for promotion via our website and social media channels.
  5. Creating monthly social media strategies, providing active oversight and sign off on social media, branding, design, copy and traffic flow.
  6. Overseeing communications and materials to maintain the schools brand standards including brochures and print materials, video and photo assets, environmental branding around the school.
  7. Developing and maintaining website content to ensure it is always fresh, comprehensive, up-to-date and focused on evidencing our Schools narrative and promises.
  8. Leading on coverage of all activations and events, on behalf of Bloom Education and the schools.
  9. Managing the production of the annual Review magazine by commissioning, collating, editing, and proofreading content.
  10. Escorting photographers and videographers on school premises, when requested.
  11. Collating updates from Heads of department for student and parent handbooks.
  12. Responsible for reporting on competitor marketing activities in Al Ain.

Essential Skills

  1. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic - copywriting, editing and proofreading.
  2. Strong design aesthetic.
  3. Understanding of using a CMS for website management.
  4. Understanding of Mailchimp.
  5. Management of social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube creating and curating content, social influence building.
  6. Understanding of online marketing and measurement metrics.
  7. Graphic design, photo editing and retouching skills with a working knowledge of Canva, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop preferable.
  8. Ability to use an SLR camera or similar and able to capture high quality photography/video.
  9. Knowledge of audio/video editing, capable of managing the creation of promotional videos.

Experience & Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study.
  2. Experience working with CRM and funnel management preferable.
  3. Understanding of the role and influence of social media and digital marketing channels from discovery to enrollment.
  4. 5 years experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector.

Duties listed in this job descriptions will be discussed with the post holder when appointed with some flexibility in order to play to the strengths of the post holder and the needs of the schools.

In addition to the specific duties listed above, the post holder will also be expected to undertake other such reasonable responsibilities and tasks that may from time to time be assigned by the Head of Marketing and Communications.
