Job Purpose:

The Marketing and Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote RAK ICC's products. This role involves creating and managing marketing campaigns, overseeing communication initiatives, and enhancing our online and offline presence. They are a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing and communication, particularly within the financial services, Freezone environment or corporate services sectors.

Functional Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy, including budget management, to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation.
  • Identify target markets and tailor marketing efforts to specific customer segments.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels.
  • Create compelling content for marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Oversee RAK ICC’s online presence, including website management and SEO/SEM strategies.
  • Analyse digital marketing performance and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Maintain and enhance RAK ICC’s brand image and reputation.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies, write press releases, and manage media relations.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote RAK ICC.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation though agents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders, fostering positive rapport and open communication channels to support RAK ICC's objectives.
  • Represent RAK ICC in government-related discussions, advocating for the interests of RAK ICC and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Track and report on marketing initiative effectiveness, providing regular updates to the CCO and stakeholders.
  • Understand the Consumer behavior to position the brand.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and industry best practices.
  • Recommend innovative marketing approaches to enhance the RAK ICCC’s success.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the financial services, Freezone environment or corporate services industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior marketing staff.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
