The AVP Marketing Business Partnerships is responsible for creating and executing below the line, existing customer communications related to the migration of credit card customers from Visa cards to Mastercard and to 90-day engagement plans with existing credit card customers. The role reports to the VP Marketing Business Partnerships CBG Credit Cards. This role can be based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi with travel between emirates.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Deliver customer communications related to migration plans for existing customers on Visa credit card to Mastercard credit cards.
Deliver customer communications relating to 90-day engagement plans to existing credit card customers.
Prepare the plans with Mastercard identifying what communications are required to what customers, at what times and through which channels.
Prepare the communications in English and Arabic managing agencies to develop copywriting for relevant channels (SMS, push and EDM).
Prepare approvals on copy and messaging across relevant stakeholders across credit card product, legal, compliance, marketing, and Mastercard.
Prepare creative for EDMS by managing agencies to ensure templates are correct, visuals are appropriate, and creative has the relevant approvals.
Manage HTML development for EDMs including uploading visuals to FABs DAM, preheaders are loaded, and links are all working.
Ensure links are tagged appropriately and manage the customer journey from an EDM to bankfab.com or other appropriate digital platforms.
Work with internal departments on requesting data for the communications (where required) and manage tests of communication with appropriate approvals.
Manage the calendar of communications and booking of slots for EDM, SMS within FAB operating model.
Track marketing performance pre, during, and post-launch to ensure timely identification and effective resolution of corrective actions.
Deliver on executional excellence, managing projects on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline.
Minimum Experience:
8 years relevant experience in marketing.
Other required experience:
Experience in a marketing role working with agencies and teams.
Marketing background from FMCG / banking business preferred. Advertising or marketing agency experience also acceptable.
Experience of working with global, regional, and local marketing teams.
Experience in the region and ideally also developed markets.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to review English copy with strong knowledge of copywriting, grammar rules, and what makes effective marketing copy.
Able to build and execute on creative ideas.
Comfortable in understanding marketing strategies and plans especially for below the line communication and retention plans.
Able to adhere to clear marketing processes and influence other departments to align.
Demonstrate a proactive, flexible, and solution-driven attitude and stress resilience.
Good communication and project management skills.
Fluent in English and ideally Arabic also.
Computer literate and technology passionate.
Ability to travel between office locations for meetings and workshops.
