Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Head of Marketing and Community Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the Web3 space. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and its implications for marketing. They will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive adoption, engagement, and growth across our platforms and products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Community Building: Cultivate a vibrant and engaged community around the studio's projects, the studio, and blockchain. This involves managing social media channels, hosting events, AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), and fostering discussions on forums and Discord/Telegram channels.
  2. Content Strategy: Develop and oversee a cohesive content creation strategy that educates, inspires, and informs the community about Web3 technologies and the projects within the studio's portfolio. This includes blog posts, videos, podcasts, social media content, and thought leadership pieces.
  3. Tokenomics and Community Engagement: For token-based projects, collaborate with the product and development teams to understand and communicate tokenomics clearly to the community that incentivizes participation and fosters a thriving ecosystem around the project.
  4. Thought Leadership: Establish the venture studio and its key personnel as thought leaders in the Web3 space. Secure speaking engagements, participate in panels at industry conferences, and contribute articles to reputable industry publications.
  5. Go to Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for launching new projects within the Web3 space. This includes supporting our founders by identifying target audiences, defining messaging, and selecting appropriate marketing channels to reach them effectively.
  6. Data Analysis and Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to monitor and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and community engagement activities. Use insights to optimize strategies, improve engagement, and increase return on investment.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in marketing leadership roles within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
  3. Deep understanding of Web3 technology, including blockchain, smart contracts, DeFi, NFTs, etc.
  4. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  6. Demonstrated track record of building and managing high-performing marketing teams.
  7. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  9. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in this space.
