Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Marketing Agency Manager / General Director to lead and manage our Ecommerce division. As the General Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, growth, and execution of all marketing efforts related to our clients' ecommerce businesses. Your leadership will drive high-performing teams and ensure the successful implementation of digital marketing campaigns that elevate client brands and maximize online sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive ecommerce marketing strategies for clients, aligning with their business objectives and ensuring measurable growth.
  • Client Management & Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals and providing tailored marketing solutions to enhance their digital presence and online sales.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of marketing specialists, designers, copywriters, and analysts to deliver exceptional results for clients. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all ecommerce marketing campaigns, including paid media, SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement. Develop detailed reports for clients, showcasing results and growth metrics.
  • Budget Management: Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring the highest ROI on marketing expenditures and aligning spend with strategic goals.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with the latest ecommerce trends, digital marketing best practices, and technologies to ensure that our agency remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts and generate new business, contributing to the agency's overall growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role focused on ecommerce.
  • Proven track record of leading ecommerce marketing strategies with measurable success (increasing sales, conversion rates, and customer retention).
  • Strong experience in paid media (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), SEO, content marketing, and email marketing for ecommerce.
  • Expertise in analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and motivating approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) is preferred.
