Research Business Development Specialist
Establish channels for the sales leads; develop database and segmentation of the clients.
Compile weekly sales plan and sales report of suspects, prospects, and materialized business.
Identify volume and strategic customers and develop partnerships.
Identify and implement business development projects related to new and/or existing industries, technologies, or services.
Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs.
Key Account Management and Client Relationship Management of existing customers.
Nurture existing customers for business retention and growth.
Address customers' concerns and complaints.
Induction of New Customers and New Business to achieve/exceed monthly and periodic revenue targets.
Promote and sell the entire spectrum of products to new and existing customers.
Upselling, cross-selling, and directional selling.
Fully comply with the given guidelines on the credit policy of the company.
Achieve assigned revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis in direct correlation to the budget.
Close coordination with the finance department for safeguarding the interest and collection of outstanding funds.
Full adherence to the assigned KPIs/KPMs.
Selection Criteria
Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or any related field from a reputable university.
Minimum of 5 years relevant sales and business development experience, preferably from the research industry.
Proficient with all the business/technical aspects of a market research company.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong commercial sense and ability to conclude business.
Proven experience in writing proposals in English and Arabic.
