Marine Superintendent, Container vessels

Our clients, a shipping company, is currently looking for a Marine Superintendent (Containers) to join their expanding team!

Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring your assigned fleets are compliant with the company's internal system, international regulations, etc.
2. Compliant with the company's quality, health, safety, and environmental policies
3. Managing vessels' continuous performance improvement plan
4. Ensuring timely periodical reports are submitted
5. Facilitate good communication with different counterparts
6. Managing the seaworthiness of assigned fleets
7. Management of ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO and flag out audits
8. Manage QSSE audits/inquiries onboard
9. Monitoring of corrective, preventive actions and accident investigation
10. Regular fleet inspections and port visits to meet the company's KPI
11. Conduct trainings for shore staff and ship crew
12. Be the point of contact for flag administrations and support fleet department
13. Required to participate in the emergency response team whenever necessary

Requirements:

1. Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in any relevant discipline
2. Relevant sailing experience as Master Mariners on-board merchant ships, preferably in container vessels
3. Trained in ISM and ISO Internal audits, CSO and accident investigations
4. Good foundation in HSEQ management
5. Good communication skills, a team player and able to work within time constraints
6. Proficient in English (Spoken and Written)
