Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on new enquiries, renewals, and day-to-day maintenance of assigned accounts in the Marine team.
  • Handle all aspects of Account Management including preparation of slips, endorsements, and renewal statistics.
  • Set up new policies and ensure they comply with underwriting requirements.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and problems, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge by staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and market trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / Masters Degree.
  • 5 years relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience working as a broker technician or as an Account Handler within the Marine Hull or Cargo space and have a passion for Marine Insurance.
  • Confident in demonstrating the company values of being accountable, entrepreneurial, collaborative, empowering, and disciplined.
  • Excellent IT and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
