Marine Engineer

Support the Chief Engineer in managing the vessel's engineering department, ensuring compliance with international and company standards. Operate and maintain heavy-lift and pipelay equipment, including hydraulic systems, cranes, winches, and other specialized machinery.

Perform regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, generators, and other essential machinery. Monitor the vessel's power generation and distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Implement preventive maintenance programs for heavy-lift or pipelay systems to minimize downtime. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.

Maintain detailed logs and records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies on waste management and pollution control.

Support deck operations during heavy-lift or pipelay activities, ensuring safety and efficiency. Participate in safety drills and contribute to the overall safety culture aboard the vessel.
