Marble Factory Manager

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading building materials company seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee its marble factory in Abu Dhabi UAE focused on cutting, polishing, and installation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, quality control, workforce management, maintenance, and overall operational efficiency to ensure high-quality marble products are processed and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the marble factory ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
2. Monitor the entire production process from raw material procurement to final product delivery.
3. Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications.
4. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and protocols.
5. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the factory; conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
7. Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
8. Address any customer complaints or issues related to product quality or delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in a lead role in a production setup, preferably in the marble or stone industry.
3. Strong knowledge of marble cutting, polishing, and installation processes.
4. Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
5. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage large teams and stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to factory operations.
8. Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
