Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Overview: The FMCG Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing process in a fast-paced consumer goods production environment. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight:
• Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement production schedules and adjust as necessary to respond to changing demands.
• Team Management:
• Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns.
• Facilitate training programs to enhance the skills of the production team.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Investigate and address any quality issues promptly.
• Safety Compliance:
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and

• Inventory Management:

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, manufacturing, operations management) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
