Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Card Testing & Validation: Perform end-to-end testing of card products, including EMV chip cards, contactless payments, prepaid cards, and magstripe. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 8583, EMVCo, PCI DSS) and regulatory requirements.
2. Test Automation & Manual Testing: Conduct both manual and automated testing using a variety of tools to validate card functionalities across different devices (POS terminals, ATMs, mobile wallets, etc.). Identify areas for automation and work with the automation team to implement solutions.
3. Test Planning & Execution: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests, reporting results in a clear and actionable format. Ensure all defects are logged and tracked through the life cycle.
4. Risk Identification & Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, working closely with the development and operations teams to resolve problems related to card functionality, security, and interoperability with card processing systems.
5. Compliance & Security Assurance: Ensure all testing processes adhere to security standards, including PCI DSS compliance. Identify potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses in the card products and their supporting systems.
6. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and product managers, to ensure clear communication and that all testing requirements are met. Provide regular test progress reports, risk assessments, and defect metrics to the project team.
