Job Title
- Managing Director. Reporting to Founder & Chairman
Key Result Areas
- Focus on origination, business development and transaction placement activities
- Assist the firm to ensure quality and efficient transaction execution
Required Experience / Responsibilities:
- Identifying opportunities in the market
- Work closely with clients and internal team on the execution of transactions
- Interaction and coordination with clients to assist in submitting timely response to queries from investors, bankers, third parties
- Strategizing for raising / restructuring of resources for clients
- Understanding client needs and objectives towards evaluation of new opportunities
- Understanding of DFSA compliance procedures and regulations
- Strong network of clients, investors (corporates, family groups, private equity and venture capital firms)
- Motivating and Managing Teams to achieve business targets.
Knowledge and Skills
- Chartered Accountant / Masters degree in Finance with a minimum of 15+ years of post-qualification experience in the investment banking industry
- Good understanding of the deal lifecycle and process (pre-deal, diligence, valuation and post-deal)
- Strong analytical and presentation skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
- Demonstrated experience with managing of day to day aspects of client relationships and projects and working with diverse teams
- This professional will have strong marketing and relationship skills, and a broad referral network from which to generate new business for the firm
- Maintain deep knowledge and expertise across industry sector(s)
- Staying updated on the market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may affect the bank or its clients
- Good experience in negotiation contracts.
