As a Project Manager, you will oversee the complete design, execution, monitoring, and closing of Payment-related projects (such as Integration of Mastercard Payment gateway with a third-party Payment system, Co-badging activities, Integration of Mastercard remittance Solution, MDES implementation, VCN launch, Loyalty platform implementation, wallets launch etc.).
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all aspects of project management and successful completion.
- Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Become a bridge between technical and business teams.
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements.
- Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of goals.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Execution and Implementation
Support in delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization.
Successful execution of projects across different clients/businesses, identifying and mitigating risks, solving issues, and ensuring they are implemented in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria.
Develop strong bonds with clients that endure beyond a particular assignment.
Identify new business opportunities to support clients with Mastercard solutions.
Team Collaboration & Culture
Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.
Plan, organize, and structure work to address client problems.
Lead team and external meetings.
Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development.
Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management and mentor junior team members.

- Experience in delivery of large, complex projects/programs in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
- Domain knowledge of payments industry and hands-on experience in program management.
- Able to plan and manage a multi-workstream program from inception to delivery.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
- Able to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals.
All About Your Education & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Fluent in local office language and English; other languages desirable (Arabic).
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience; market-specific/regional experience preferred.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Payment system Project management experience required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with Mastercard platforms is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Analytical skills and willingness to travel.
