As a Managing Consultant, Specialized Product Delivery (Commercial / B2B), you will:
- Support to drive the launch of new Corporate/Commercial products and monitor & optimize the existing products.
- Implementation of Go to market strategy.
- Support active commercialization of proposition by working with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Help in developing management Information/Performance dashboard on a corporate card portfolio.
- Work with Mastercard and ensure all revenues/costs are accounted for regularly.
- Help the end-to-end owners of the proposition for a seamless client journey i.e. to ensure all touch points internally and externally are aligned in the delivery of this proposition.
- Support with Market Research and Analysis: Understanding the needs of businesses and the existing landscape of commercial products. This involves market research, competitor analysis, and identifying gaps or opportunities in the market.
- Prepare and present reports on the performance of the commercial products, including cost, revenue, profitability, and market engagement.
- Align product features with the risk and fraud framework to minimize fraud and ensure the security of card transactions.
- Support the optimization of Credit Risk policies.
- Provide internal training on the new products.
- Leverage Mastercard assets and resources, when applicable, to deliver support on the above-mentioned responsibilities.
- Collaborate with client internal stakeholders to implement new CVPs and coordinate with projects/IT/Operations teams to support the implementation and execution of new features.
- Support review of process flows and customer journeys to ensure smooth onboarding and customer experience.
Execution and Implementation:
- Support in the delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization.
- Successful execution of projects across different clients/businesses, identifying and mitigating risks, solving issues, developing plans and ensuring they are implemented in line with agreed timescales, budgets and quality criteria, including examples of re-aligning scope and objectives during a program to ensure maximum value extraction.
- Develop strong bonds with clients that endure beyond a particular assignment, serve as a go-to resource for client staff, is sought out for knowledge of industry and firm.
- Identify new business opportunities to support clients with Mastercard solutions.
All About You
- Experience in the delivery of large, complex projects/programs of diverse sizes in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
- Domain knowledge of the payments industry and hands-on experience in Commercial Cards.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders under deadline pressure.
- Able to plan and manage a multi-workstream program from inception to delivery providing support, direction and/or technical expertise to the project team across multiple disciplines and geographies.
- Develop strong presence in the client organization extending beyond the immediate boundaries of the program.
- Bring interesting & relevant industry perspectives, insights and ideas to key stakeholders in the client organization.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Able to define scope, timelines and budgets in clear, concise language in writing and verbally. Able to report on issues, risks, progress, timelines etc. accurately and summarize effectively offering analysis, options and credible solutions.
- Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally and manage multiple issues under the pressure of conflicting constraints and limited resources. Perform and articulate cost/benefit/risk analysis.
- Able to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals.
All About Your Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Fluent local office language and English required, other languages desirable.
- Exposure specifically in payments and/or retail banking or merchants preferred.
- Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships.
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
- 10 to 12 years of Corporate/Commercial products experience with a Strong understanding of commercial banking.
- Local/regional experience preferred (GCC).
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong team player, results-driven and high level of energy and initiative.
- People management skills.
