Job description

Use extensive knowledge of financial markets and a strong network within the corporate client base to drive revenue growth through the sale of treasury hedging solutions.

Principal Accountabilities

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporates within the UAE.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding treasury products, providing tailored solutions to meet their financial needs.
  3. Conduct regular client visits and presentations to deepen client relationships and uncover new sales opportunities.

Internal Clients:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Wholesale Banking teams regarding treasury products, ensuring clear communication and explanations as required.
  2. Offer hedging treasury products to corporates clients.
  3. Achieve and exceed derivatives sales targets by identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the existing and prospective client base.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized derivatives solutions that are aligned with client strategies and objectives.

Market Analysis & Strategy:

  1. Provide clients with information on financial market conditions.
  2. Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies.
  3. Ensure all treasury transactions are conducted within the framework of the bank's risk management policies and procedures.
  4. Identify potential risks associated with client transactions and work with the risk management team to mitigate them.
  5. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the UAE.

Reporting & Administration:

  1. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client activity for the Head of Treasury and Capital Markets.
  2. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with the back-office team to ensure smooth execution and settlement of treasury transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance or a relevant topic.
  2. Effective spoken and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  3. Minimum 5 years experience.
  4. Knowledge of financial markets and treasury products.
