About the Role

As Manager - Sustainability & Strategy, you will play a key role in supporting long-term strategic planning and business development, while driving impactful sustainability initiatives. You will ensure the achievement of objectives that align with our financial goals, optimizing resources, and creating financial value while maintaining our commitment to responsible and sustainable growth.

Objectives of this role

Support overall business growth through the planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of specific projects and initiatives which enhance and drive the Company’s Sustainability and Strategy practices and agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Strategy, Finance & Business Alignment

• Support long-term strategic planning, financial modelling, and business plan development.
• Manage the balanced scorecard process, ensuring KPI tracking and reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis, ROI assessments, and scenario modelling to support decision-making.
• Align departmental plans with corporate strategy, monitoring progress and providing insights.
• Act as the primary liaison between Group Strategy and Aldar Hospitality on strategic and financial matters.

Sustainability & Digitalization

• Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy efficiency, and ESG reporting.
• Oversee sustainability projects such as certifications, carbon tracking, and green initiatives.
• Support automation of sustainability data and dashboards in collaboration with IT teams.
• Represent Aldar Hospitality at ESG and industry sustainability events, staying informed on best practices.

Required skills and qualifications

• At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a corporate governance, quality management or strategy function, preferably with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity in the design of a corporate governance framework
• Good knowledge and exposure to strategy frameworks, KPIs/OKRs, concepts, and practices
• Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry
• Good knowledge of GCC business landscape

• Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical/problem solving, communication, research, and presentation skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
• Able to monitor and analyze industry trends, market changes, competition and perform data analysis to identify threats and opportunities and inform business decisions.
• Excellent command of English language
